Stage 2 | Jan Volmer Scania R770 V8 Sound Pack

This my first stage 2 sound pack. That means that it’s recorded with my brand new equipment.

This pack features the great mighty Next Gen R770 sound. For sure with the usual realism as always!

Progress:

18-4-2025; bad news: recording day delayed to May 3rd.

25-4-2025; no updates. Did some testing with my equipment and found out about a broken cable so replaced it. Now good to go, I hope.

2-5-2025; again no updates. Delivered my equipment to Middelburg so I can start recording tomorrow around 13:00 Dutch time. I'm excited and curious, because this is the first time recording with my new equipment. Stay tuned and come back Friday next week for the weekly update!

3-5-2025; 11:50. Taking a shower after work, time to eat. Big recording starts around 13:00! Starting off with building everything on the truck, soundcheck, recordings when idle and than time for some driving!

17:00. Just got home from Middelburg. Made some good recordings. I hope that it's enough. The open pipe exhaust isn't recorded today. There was no big load so impossible for recording with a strong 770 engine. Now I'm focusing on the stock engine sound.

4-5-2025; started the big work of producing the stock sound. This can take some weeks to several months. A next recording day is to be planned.

7-5-2025; testing phase started.

8-5-2025; hidden release.
